Abstract :
Evaluation of the antibacterial activity of our samples α-Fe2O3@Fe3O4 (CS), GO, GO/ α-Fe2O3@Fe3O4 (Hyb.). was carried out using the well diffusion method based on the protocol described by Thana et al [1] with a slight modification. 15ml Muller-Hinton agar was poured into Petri dishes and allowed to solidify. Bacterial cultures were spread evenly over the agar surface and 8mm diameter wells were made in each petri dish. 100 μL of different product concentrations (4, 6, 8 and 10mg/ml) were added to each well. Agar plates were incubated at 37°C for 24 h. Antimicrobial activity was assessed by measuring zones of growth inhibition in mm using a caliper.
